Hello Again!
So you may have noticed but it's that time of year again, when the high streets are no longer full of big oversized jumpers and big woolly coats, but instead its packed with the new spring/summer collections!
And I can't express how happy this makes me, as summer is without a doubt my most favourite time of the year! And with summer comes HOLIDAYS!  

And I have to admit, I have already started holiday shopping! But can you blame me? 

So with all the new trends starting to appear, there is one trend that I'm absolutely loving! And it has to be all these bright neon colours that have cropped up! 

And I'm totally loving the neon orange colour the most (you may have guessed from the pictures ha!)

#1 Products I've Used Up

Helloo again! 

So this is my first ever empties blog, where I will basically be showing you the products that I have used up! And giving you my honest review on what I liked/disliked about these products :) 

What I like most about these sort of things, is that you know you can trust the review of the person giving it, as the product has been tried and tested! :) 

I don't have many, as it does take me a long time to finish anything, as I have so many products that I like to try out! 

(For some reason most of these are hair products! haha!)

1) Umberto Giannini Beauty Secrets Intense Conditioner

 (£5.61 - boots)

I had this shampoo and conditioner set agessssssssssssssss ago for a christmas present! I used up all the shampoo, but I put away the conditioner for some reason and didn't discover it again until a few months ago! 

I have mixed reviews about this conditioner to be honest, as the first time I used it, it made my hair feel greasy and weighed down. The second time I used it, I just applied a small amount to the tips of my hair, after I had conditioned it using a different conditioner. I did notice a small difference, as the ends of my hair looked healthier. 

But not entirely sure about this to be honest! Don't think i'm going to repurchase!

2) Batiste Dry Shampoo Tropical 

(£2.99 - boots) 

I think most people nowadays has tried this product out! And to be honest, it is the best smelling dry shampoo ever!
I love this product, as it doesn't leave your hair with white marks as much as the other dry shampoo's that I have tried out. 

Definitely going to repurchase this one!

3) Toni & Guy Iron-It Heat Defence Spray 

(think it's been discontinued!) 

I've had this spray for years, but never got round to using it! I don't really use heat defence sprays, as I normally forget to use them before I do my hair! I don't use alot of heat on my hair, so it has took my a while to use this little can up!

I'm not too keen on this product, as it easily makes your hair greasy, so only a small amount needs to be used! I'm too sure if I like the smell aswell, as it is quite strong!

Not going to repurchase 

4) John Frieda Full Repair Deep Conditioner

(£6.29 - boots) 

I love love love this conditioner so much! It has worked wonders on my hair! 

I use this product to deep conditioner my hair, which I do about once a week. I apply the conditioner to my hair and leave up to 5-10 minutes (maybe a bit longer) So have a nice relax in your shower or bath while you wait!

The results are great and my hair feels 100% healthier! I have less split ends when I used this product more frequently! So I definitely recommend to anyone who is trying to grow their hair!

Definitely repurchasing !

5) John Frieda Full Repair Deep Infusion Serum

(£6.99 - boots)

As you might of guessed, i'm a little bit in love with John Frieda's full repair range! haha!

This serum is a little beauty though and works miracles on my split ends! As it works to repair the ends of your hair and to make your hair more healthier and shiny! 

I only use a small amount on damp hair and apply evenly through the ends of my hair! And I must admit the results have been amazing, as the ends of my hair remain healthier inbetween haircuts, and my hair has grown ten times as quick as before I used this! 

Already repurchased! 

6) Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly 

(£3.10 - lush) 

I absolutely adore the smell of this shower gel/jelly, and i'm so happy that i've already got another one to use!

This took me agessss to use up, as only a little goes a very long way!! It smells gorgeous and leaves my body smelling all pretty with a hint of glitter which is part of the jelly!

Will repurchase this!  

Chocolate Chip Cookie Thingymabobs!

Hey Guys!
So I had the sudden urge to bake and I really fancied making some chocolate chip cookies!
As I was cooking I fancied making some buttercream icing aswell
So I combined the two together and ended up with a whoopie pie type baked good!
And to be honest, they taste SO nice!
I'm not sure whether to call them whoopie pies or not? 

Any suggestions?  

(Also I am not a professional cook/baker so of course my cooking isn't perfect) 

What You Need? 

Scales
Large Mixing Bowl
Baking Tray
Wooden Spoon  

Ingredients 

Chocolate Chip Cookies -

Margarine (75g/3oz)
Sugar (75g/3oz)

Self-Raising Flour (100g/4oz)
Cocoa Powder (1 tablespoon)
Milk (120ml/4fl oz)
Chocolate Chips

Buttercream Icing- 

Icing Sugar (125g/5oz)

Margarine (62.5g/2.5oz) 

Chocolate Chip Cookies

1) Pre-heat oven to 180'c/350'f (Gas Mark 4)

2) Grease your baking tray, using a paper towel and some margarine

3) Put margarine and sugar into the mixing bowl and mix with a wooden spoon until light and fluffy

4) Put the flour into the mix and stir in with a spoon, then add cocoa powder 

(I used one tablespoon, as I like mine chocolatey  add more or less depending on your personal taste) 

5) Then add the milk and chocolate chips! And mix it all together! 

6) Put about 10 teaspoons of the mixture on the greased baking tray (there will be about enough mixture for 2 batches) 

7) Put into oven for about 15-20 minutes 

Buttercream Icing

1) Put  icing sugar and margarine into mixing bowl

2) Add tablespoon of water and mix together until soft and creamy 

3) Add cocoa powder (again I like mine quite chocolatey) 

4) Mix together until blended! 

5) Using a spoon, spread mixture onto bottom side of the cookie (aim for a small amount in the middle to avoid it spilling over the edge) 

6) You can also add chocolate chips if you feel like being a crazy cat!

6) Place another cookie on top of mixture (to form whoopie pie shape) 

7) Place into fridge to cool and set! 

8) Eat and enjoy!

Benefit Make-up Review

Hello Again! 

Lately I've been trying out alot of benefit make-up, after it was brought to my attention when I was given a free benefit make-up make over for my 18th birthday! Within my make over I got to try alot of benefit make-up and I loved it all so much that I had to buy some products! <3 

Boi-ing

(Shade 3 - Medium) 

"This award-winning concealer camouflages dark circles, shadows and discoloration without creasing or fading"

I'm absolutely loving this concealer as it gives great coverage! It can either be applied with your finger or with a concealer brush, but I find using your ring finger gives the best results as it helps blending out much easier! I use this concealer for dark circles and also blemishes on my skin, and I find this concealer easily covers these problems areas and lasts the whole day!! The only problem I have found with this product is that the consistency is quite thick and takes alot to blend into the skin. I also find that it can sometimes make my skin look dry, so make sure you moisturise before applying.  On the other hand though, this concealer gives great coverage and matches perfectly to my skin and also my benefit foundation! :)

"Quickly minimise the appearance of pores & fine lines for smoother-than-smooth skin!"

I love love love this primer! It's light-weight formula is great and applies onto skin with ease, creating a perfect base for make-up! What I love most about this primer, is that it compliments my skin tone perfectly and because it's light-weight it isn't too thick on the skin which I find happens with other primers. It also minimises pores, making my skin appear smoother and blemish-free! All you need to do is to apply a few drops onto your fingers and blend into the skin before you apply your foundation! Totally worth the £23.50 price tag!  

They're Real Mascara

"They're real! lengthens, curls, volumizes, lifts & separates"

Hands down this has to be the best mascara I have ever tried! It makes my lashes so voluminous and thick, I absolutely love it! The specially designed brush is perfect as it grabs all of your lashes from base to tip, separating my lashes perfectly! And you can even grab those hard to get lashes in the corner of your eyes, thanks to the bristles at the top of the brush, making your lashes look more full and longer! I was quite reluctant to purchase this mascara because of the price tag, as I wouldn't normally spend that much on a mascara, but I'm so glad I did, because this is the best mascara ever, and will definitely be a staple piece in my make-up bag from now on! 

Triple Performing Facial Emulsion

 "hydrates, protects & comforts the skin with an oil-free, lightweight formula"

This product is perfect for when your skin is feeling lifeless and dull, as it brightens and hydrates your skin, giving you a lovely glow. I use this product after I moisturise but before I use my POREfessional primer, in order to hydrate and protect my skin before I apply make-up. It's a perfect cleanser as it's lightweight and doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy or sticky! Just apply to your face and neck in the morning, and your skin will feel lovely and refreshed! A great product :) 

Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation

(Shade - Beige) 

"Oil-free brightening liquid foundation builds from light to medium coverage for a natural complexion"

I love this foundation because it's oil-free it doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy! Because it's so light-weight a little goes a long way, so you don't need to coat your face in it, to feel like your getting a full coverage!  I apply this foundation using a stippling brush, applying it in circle motions on my face, in order for an air-brushed finish. I have a combination skin complexion and this foundation is perfect, as it doesn't try out my skin or make it look greasy/oily. I really recommend this foundation to anyone!!!
